Course Description

Inclusion is a value held deeply across many professional fields. It promotes value, self-worth, and equitable opportunity; critical values held by ethically-sound organizations. But what is the cost of inclusion? Have you considered in your attempt to be inclusive there may be unintended consequences that limit others? Acts of inclusion often create exclusion. Inclusive practices are now standard, occurring daily throughout workplaces. While it usually has great intent, it can unknowingly create moments of exclusion, resulting in feelings of rejection and resentment which may erode the organization's bedrock. Yet, it remains an uncomfortable and unpopular topic of conversation.
