Ethics CEU: Increasing the Vocal Responses of Children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities Using Manual Sign Mand Training and Prompt Delay

The development of vocal verbal behavior in children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities remains one of the most important and challenging objectives in behavior analytic practice. Many children receiving ABA services demonstrate limited or absent vocal repertoires, which significantly affects their ability to communicate needs, participate in educational settings, and engage in meaningful social interactions.
