Course Description

While contracting continues to be a dominant piece of collaboration between manufacturers & provider accounts, there has been increased interest & success in mutually beneficial partnerships between individual provider accounts & manufacturers. This discussion will explore shared areas of interest, best (and worst) practices, and where partnerships are trending across both the IDN & community channel. Opportunities for Partnership: What is the low hanging fruit & high lift areas for partnership between manufacturers & providers? Leveraging Data: In what ways can data be realistically leveraged for these partnerships & what works for data sharing / analytics agreements? Best (and Worst) Practices: What actually works for driving successful partnerships, and what must both providers & manufacturers bring to the table to drive successful collaboration? Future Trends: What areas (e.g. precision medicine, big data, patient risk stratification, etc.) are most likely to drive future (non-contracting) trends between manufacturers and provider accounts?
