Collaborative Crisis Support: Clarifying Roles & Communication for Effective Behavioral Incident Intervention matters because it changes what a BCBA notices when decisions have to hold up in clinical documentation, payer communication, supervision records, and leadership review. In Collaborative Crisis Support: Clarifying Roles & Communication for Effective Behavioral Incident Intervention, for this course, the practical stakes show up in service continuity, accurate reporting, and defensible clinical decisions, not in abstract discussion alone.

This presentation centers on the human collaboration element of crisis intervention—emphasizing the shared responsibility across professional disciplines to ensure safety, consistency, and compassion. Participants will explore how clarifying roles and using structured, proactive communication tools can prevent confusion and escalation. Grounded in the Safety- Care framework, yet extending beyond curriculum, this session empowers professionals to respond as a coordinated team rather than isolated individuals. Team-based crisis response discussions and scenario-based learning will deepen participants' ability to apply these concepts in real-life settings.
