This was a great training on how we can better support neurodivergent individuals in the workplace and prepare youth sooner rather than later to obtain meaningful employment. Thank you Abbey for sharing your passion and knowledge about workforce training and this is one that I believe more employers need to take so they aren't missing out on the pool of talent that neurodivergent individuals bring to the workforce. This course provided a wonderful insight on the obstacles neurodivergent individuals will have after high school and beyond. Although I work with younger individuals, this has made me think of the early skills development I can do so that they are ready before high school to make an easy transition to work life.
