For insurance-funded services, the content and structure of goals can influence whether a request for authorization of services is approved or denied. Errors in goal writing can significantly impact the development of appropriate programming and the ability to appropriately measure progress. In this presentation, attendees will learn the core structure for writing goals and objectives to meet the standards of medical necessity and FAPE.
