Presentation 1 (Jess Olson, University of Utah) reviews the outcomes a tier 1-3 coaching model implemented in a large local school district in the state of Utah. Outcomes demonstrate that following the implementation of a function-based coaching model for teachers and school staff, SpEd referrals decreased and early interventions demonstrated maintenance over a five year period. Presentation 2 (Daniel Wagner, Utah State University), discusses an experiment conducted at a rural ABA agency where the indicated and non-indicated interventions of a PDC-HS intended to improve the quality of end-of-session notes were compared. Results demonstrated that the non-indicated intervention was effective at addressing the skill deficit. Discussion will focus on the implications for PDC-HS implementation and future research.
