Ethics CEU: Expanding Case Conceptualization for Autism Services in ABA: An ACT-Informed Approach

Case conceptualization is the process by which behavior analysts organize client information into a coherent clinical picture that guides assessment, goal selection, and intervention design. Traditional case conceptualization in ABA for autism services has focused primarily on identifying target behaviors, conducting functional assessments, and designing interventions based on operant contingencies.

Hi! I'm Tiffany N. Arango. I've been working in the field of ABA since 2011 and have been a BCBA since 2014. Growing up with family and friends with various diagnoses, I’ve always been passionate about creating supportive and welcoming environments for everyone. Whether I’m working with learners, family members, supervisees, or collaborators, I’m passionate about meeting people where they are. Using a values-based approach, I partner with individuals and organizations to support meaningful progress that helps them align with what's important to them. When I'm not working, you can find me completing fitness challenges with my hubby, going on adventures with my nieces and nephews, or cuddled up on the couch with my “fur-children” and a good book.
