Supervision CEU: Ending Burnout: How Leaders Can Improve the Health, Wellbeing, and Effectiveness of Their Teams

Burnout and compassion fatigue represent a crisis in the ABA workforce that has direct implications for the quality of services delivered to clients. National surveys consistently show that most people experience negative effects of work-related stress, and helping professionals, including behavior analysts, are particularly vulnerable to compassion fatigue, which involves the physical, psychological, and emotional exhaustion that comes from helping others at work.
