Course Description

In the final section of the Education Code course, participants explore the ethical responsibilities of BCBAs working in schools—especially when collaborating with educators, navigating role ambiguity, and advocating for students. Through reflection and real-world scenarios, participants will gain confidence in ethical decision-making and learn what they can—and can't—do within their professional scope.

What You'll Learn

  1. Identify ethical dilemmas common in school-based settings and apply the BACB Code to real-life scenarios.
  2. Describe professional boundaries and collaboration strategies that support compliance and advocacy.
  3. Reflect on your role as a BCBA in multidisciplinary teams and respond to ethical gray areas with integrity.
