(2016) emphasized that culturally responsive care in ABA treatment enhances the individualization of treatment to the cultural values and practices of ASD patients and their families. However, many behavior analysts do not have the specific training, experience, and skills to deliver culturally responsive care to ASD patients. This presentation will explore a multiple-case study that examined the perceptions of four behavior analysts and how they incorporated culturally responsive care into their behavior analytic approach to treatment design and service delivery. This study found that the practitioner's humility, vulnerability, and building and maintaining trust were key components for incorporating culturally responsive care in ABA treatment design and the service delivery model.
