General CEU: Bcba Ceu Understanding Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions Demand

Understanding Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions Demand is the kind of topic that looks straightforward until it collides with the speed, ambiguity, and competing demands of community routines and natural environments. In Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions Demand, for this course, the practical stakes show up in stronger conceptual consistency and better translational decision making, not in abstract discussion alone.

Course Description

Naturalistic Developmental Behavior Interventions (NDBIs) are a group of early interventions that use a variety of strategies from applied behavioral and developmental sciences. Although NDBIS have been demonstrated effective, NDBIs are not implemented on a wide scale within early intervention programs for children on the autism spectrum. One major barrier is that many practitioners lack training, knowledge, and support for implementing NDBIs (Hampton & Sandbank, 2021). We will provide recommendations to the autism service community, intervention developers, and researchers. At the end of this session, practitioners will be able to: I took this course to find out about the different NDBIs and they didn't explain that at all. Plus there were a lot of long pauses for people to discus sin the chat if you weren't present for the initial webinar. This training moved very slow. The panel discussion debunked a lot of myths, but did not talk much about practical applications in ABA, how it is relevant or how to implement. I didn't get much out of this training, it was a lot of surface level info but wasn't very in-depth.

What You'll Learn

  1. Clarify the core and common features of NDBIs,.
  2. Discuss possible misconceptions of NDBIs, and.
  3. Articulate reasons why NDBIs could be widely implemented in their treatment environments.
