Fba Public Schools is the kind of topic that looks straightforward until it collides with the speed, ambiguity, and competing demands of school teams and classroom routines. In Fba Public Schools, for this course, the practical stakes show up in feasible school-based support, stronger collaboration, and better student participation, not in abstract discussion alone.

Here, behavior analysts have opportunities to support these students and promote evidence-based behavioral interventions. This presentation will 1) review American federal policy on IEEs, 2) discuss the IEE process from a third-party contractor's perspective, 3) explain the unique considerations for serving as an independent third-party while maintaining a collaborative and student-centered approach to assessment, and 4) describe practical tools (e.g., checklists and report formats) and recommendations for conducting IEEs in public schools. The ultimate goal of this presentation is to equip behavior analysts with the tools and advice needed to conduct thorough IEEs while fostering collaboration and trust with schools, ultimately enhancing the quality of education students receive. This training was excellent... if I lived in the United States. I am Canadian from Ontario so much of the content around federal law and processes was not applicable to me. I would love a similar course designed to address Canadian federal and provincial policies. I also would have liked to know ahead of time that this was specific to Federal Policies in the United States as I would not have taken the course. Dr. Brodhead - your course was inspirational, lots of amazing information and I learned more than I thought possible. I look forward to applying my knowledge into our school. Thank you for all you do for students and their communities. Blessings... Professor brought up a lot of good points from his experience and shared a lot of practical resources. This was an extremely helpful presentation on the IEE process and included applicable strategies. Matt is also pretty funny. It was entertaining and informative.
