General CEU: An Qualitative Exploratory Case Study on the use of technology in behavioral plan development.

An Qualitative Exploratory Case Study on the use of technology in behavioral plan development is the kind of topic that looks straightforward until it collides with the speed, ambiguity, and competing demands of documentation workflows, supervision meetings, treatment planning, and quality review. In An Qualitative Exploratory Case Study on the use of technology in behavioral plan development, for this course, the practical stakes show up in faster workflow without clinical drift, privacy loss, or weak oversight, not in abstract discussion alone.

Course Description

The barriers people with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) experience accessing technology remains a disparity, despite the benefits of its use as a human right and to advance integration (Nicholl et al., 2021). Boot et al., (2017) posits persons with IDD when compared to the general population, have a greater opportunity to manage their multimorbidity when assistive technology is incorporated into their daily lives. This exploratory qualitative case study will highlight if and how the clinical department at Organization ABC, uses technology as a means to support persons receiving services achieve their optimal level of development, advocacy, and integration as a pivotal focus of supporting their human rights.
