About the Instructor

Tina Lowry

Tina Marie Lowry understands navigating the world of disability services and finding support that is right for you. Having multiple invisible disabilities herself, she received her undergraduate degree from Marquette University and her Masters of Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. She is currently the Director of Quality at Aspire, overseeing outreach services. Additionally, Tina is a Quality Enhancement Specialist for The Council for Quality and Leadership and the Head Coach for the Libertyville Stars Special Olympics Swim Club. Recently, she has been a keynote speaker for transition fairs guiding families working through what comes next after high school and she has been a panel speaker discussing topic areas of human rights along with empathetic communication with neurodivergent learners. Networking and identifying key areas for significant transitions is important to the quality of life for all individuals and a takeaway from all of Tina’s presentations.
