Down Syndrome Fitness and Movement

This cluster shows that kids and adults with Down syndrome move less and get weaker faster than other people. Short, fun exercise programs with helpers can make their bodies and brains work better every day. BCBAs can add simple games, walks, or dances to sessions to keep clients strong and safe. Moving more now helps them stay independent and happy later.
