General CEU: Supervision Bcba Ceu Skills

Supervision Bcba Ceu Skills matters because it changes what a BCBA notices when decisions have to hold up in supervision meetings, staff training, clinic systems, and performance review. In Supervision Bcba Ceu Skills, for this course, the practical stakes show up in better performance, lower drift, and more sustainable team development, not in abstract discussion alone.

Course Description

This presentation explores innovative approaches to strengthen clinical supervision through the integration of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), cultural humility, and reflective practice strategies.Participants will learn how ACT principles can create a more flexible and values-aligned supervisory environment, while cultural humility frameworks enhance supervisors' ability to navigate diverse perspectives and power dynamics. The session emphasizes practical reflective techniques that supervisors can use to examine their own practice, biases, and intervention strategies. Through interactive demonstrations and case examples, attendees will develop concrete skills to foster more effective supervisory relationships and promote supervisee growth. Special attention will be given to implementing these approaches within various clinical settings and across different theoretical orientations. Great information was shared on how to be a more effective supervisor. I'm looking forward to part 2 of the workshop As someone on the spectrum there was one particular segment I just found offensive. It also comes across as just another management silver bullet. I personally would never consider giving someone's body posture a grade. This wasn't really about leadership. This is a thought-provoking and practice-improving presentation that ties together ACT and active reflection to improve our supervision practices. It is exceptionally well organized and presented. I loved the speaker and the information was current and useful.

What You'll Learn

  1. Demonstrate the application of ACT principles (psychological flexibility, values-guided action) in supervision to enhance supervisee development and client outcomes.
  2. Integrate cultural humility frameworks into supervisory relationships by examining power dynamics, personal biases, and fostering ongoing cultural dialogue.
  3. Apply structured reflective practice techniques to deepen supervisory self-awareness and improve feedback delivery.
