Gabrielle “Gabby” Carmody, BCBA, LBA is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 30 years of experience in the field and 12 years as a BCBA. She is also a Certified Behavioral Sleep Specialist and the founder of GCG Behavioral Consulting Inc., established in 2017. Gabby works closely with school districts across Long Island, NY, to provide staff training and consultation on evidence-based practices that help remediate problem behaviors and improve deficit skill areas across settings.Earlier in her career, Gabby worked under Mike Darcy, the pioneer of the Young Autism Program (YAP), contributing to one of the most advanced early intervention models for children on the spectrum in the Northeast. Her experience spans early intervention, private practice, and public school systems.Through her business, Gabby also provides direct support to families, offering individualized parent training and coaching—both virtually and in-home—to build caregiver confidence and promote generalization of skills. With a specialization in behavioral sleep interventions, Gabby is passionate about improving the quality of life for children and families through ethical, and practical science-based solutions. She currently resides in Long Island, NY enjoying time with her husband and two boys. She also enjoys yoga, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and days at the beach.
