General CEU: Redefining Success: Discover Your 2.0 with Movement, Mindfulness & Meaning

Redefining Success: Discover Your 2.0 with Movement, Mindfulness & Meaning belongs in serious BCBA study because it shapes whether behavior-analytic decisions stay useful once they leave a clean training example and enter language assessment, teaching sessions, caregiver coaching, and natural communication routines. In Redefining Success: Discover Your 2.0 with Movement, Mindfulness & Meaning, for this course, the practical stakes show up in clearer case conceptualization, better instructional targets, and stronger generalization, not in abstract discussion alone.

Course Description

Redefining Success: Discover Your 2.0 with Movement, Mindfulness & Meaning What if success isn't a destination, but a story you can see from many angles? In this experiential workshop, behavior analysts are invited to move beyond rigid definitions of professional achievement by exploring perspective taking, through reflection and movement. Blending mindful movement, relational frame theory, and values-based reflection, this session guides participants in stepping into new ways of seeing themselves, their work, and what success can mean. Using movement, we can augment our experience of perspective taking and relate to ourselves more flexibly. We'll explore how our current perspective of success and how relational responding can help us shift from "stuck" to our 2.0 version. Whether you're confronting burnout, redefining your path, or simply curious about what else is possible, this session offers a grounded, creative space to reimagine success on your own terms, and from a new point of view. This isn't your typical CE event. Come ready to move, reflect, and embody the version of success that feels most true to you. Wear comfy clothes, bring a journal, and prepare to leave with one micro-behavior that moves your "2.0" forward.

What You'll Learn

  1. Describe how movement-based exercises can be used to support flexible perspective-taking and disrupt rigid self-concepts related to professional success.
  2. Practice a movement-based intervention that expands deictic framing and supports values-aligned action in the context of professional self-definition.
