General CEU: Minimal Residual Disease Testing in Oncology: Industry Perspectives

Minimal Residual Disease Testing in Oncology: Industry Perspectives matters because it changes what a BCBA notices when decisions have to hold up in clinic sessions and day-to-day service delivery. In Minimal Residual Disease Testing in Oncology, for this course, the practical stakes show up in service continuity, accurate reporting, and defensible clinical decisions, not in abstract discussion alone.

Course Description

Minimal residual disease (MRD) is a fast-growing segment in the cancer diagnostics market with various companies using tissue and/or blood samples to answer "doc, did you get all the cancer?" post-surgery in early-stage disease. Evidence suggests that MRD+ as a marker can accelerate disease progression. These products also have a tumor mutation surveillance component to detect recurrence before radiographic changes. Are they "prime time" ready and does the clinical utility drive reimbursement? This session will provide insights from each manufacturer.
