Reigna Pierce is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Virginia and Maryland. Reigna has worked with Verbal Beginnings since July 2021 and has worked in the mental health field for 6 years. However, her passion for helping persons with developmental disabilities started long before that. Over the last 16 years, Reigna has been an active volunteer with the Special Olympics across four different states. After graduating from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in 2011, she pursued a doctorate in physical therapy. During her studies as a DPT student, she continued her volunteer work for the special olympics. It wasn’t until then, she learned about Applied Behavior Analysis and the fire to learn more was ignited. She switched gears and immediately began the Masters program for Applied Behavior Analysis at Simmons University in Boston, MA. Reigna spends most of her time reading through current research focusing on ACT, parent training, and supervision.
