Join Free →Research has documented the underrepresentation and unique challenges that Black women experience in comparison to their white counterparts in many fields. Some of these challenges include micro-aggressions, inadequate support, and the absence of diverse perspectives in ethical guidelines. These challenges often increase as Black women move into higher education, supervisory roles, and leadership positions. The purpose of this panel is to have a candid conversation about Black women's' experiences navigating academia, clinical practice, and supervisory roles. The panelists will discuss actionable steps to make changes on an individual and systemic level to include Black women's perspectives and experiences in behavior analysis.
