Restorative Practices Mooiman belongs in serious BCBA study because it shapes whether behavior-analytic decisions stay useful once they leave a clean training example and enter school teams and classroom routines. In Restorative Practices Mooiman, for this course, the practical stakes show up in feasible school-based support, stronger collaboration, and better student participation, not in abstract discussion alone.

You will get an overview of Restorative Practices, including fundamental theory and practices for engaging with students, staff and parents in your school setting. This was a new term for me, although I have tried some of the ideas presented here, I am sure I will try to get administrator to buy into a Restorative approach to conflict resoulation. Fantastic Training! It was full of great information and presented in a clear and easy to understand way. Thank you! Laura really knows her stuff! I love the included videos to really demonstrate what this looks like in various age-groups and with various students. It is quite an interesting topic about restorative practices and circle time. Hopefully, other schools will appreciate the introduction of restorative practice too, and include it in the LAW about the School system. Restorative practice can be very applicable to problem-solving, de-escalating issues, and also emphasizing the keynote of LISTENING to others rather than telling them what to do. Thank you for this module.
