Curiel et al. (2024) later tested the same web tool. Five of seven kids picked videos that truly worked as reinforcers.

Curiel et al. (2024) also used the tool with preschoolers with autism. High-ranked videos boosted puzzle and sorting work for two of three children.

MacNaul et al. (2021) reviewed many MSWO studies. They say preferences stay stable when you re-check every 8-30 days. The web tool makes those quick re-checks easier.

03Original abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the present article is to disseminate a free, interactive web‐based multiple‐stimulus‐without‐replacement preference assessment (MSWO) program. The MSWO Preference Assessment Tool allows practitioners and researchers to assess video preferences using thumbnails and their corresponding videos. The program allows users to upload videos, select assessment parameters, conduct assessments, and download results. The program's functions and user instructions are described.
