How to Earn Free ABA CEUs

Three simple steps to start earning free continuing education units for your BCBA or RBT certification.

Are these CEUs really free?

Yes. Behaviorist Book Club offers 100% free CEU sessions for BCBAs and RBTs. There is no subscription fee, no hidden cost, and no credit card required. We believe continuing education should be accessible to every behavior analyst.

What are the BCBA CEU requirements?

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requires BCBAs to complete 32 continuing education units every two-year certification cycle. Of those 32 CEUs, at least 4 must be in ethics and 3 must be in supervision. RBTs must complete ongoing competency assessments. Our free CEU sessions cover a range of approved content areas to help you meet these requirements.

What type of CEU credits do I earn?

Sessions at Behaviorist Book Club provide Type 2 CEU credits. Type 2 CEUs include activities like attending workshops, presentations, and organized study groups. These count toward the 32 CEUs required by the BACB for BCBA certification maintenance.

How do I receive my CEU certificate?

After attending a live session, your CEU certificate is emailed to you directly. Keep your certificates on file for BACB audit purposes. We recommend saving them in a dedicated folder so they are easy to access during your recertification cycle.

Can I watch session replays for CEU credit?

Yes. If you miss a live session, you can access over 60 recorded sessions through the ABA Clubhouse on Skool. The Clubhouse is a free community where you can watch replays, participate in discussions, and connect with other ABA professionals.
