Moreover, applied behavior analysis is increasingly acknowledging and advocating for the pivotal role of relationship variables in fostering compassionate-driven innovations. This presentation will assess the progressive arc of autism intervention, with an eye toward anticipating how the enduring fundamentals of applied behavior analysis provide not only a connection to an esteemed history but also a path forward into a promising future.

Liz founded Nashoba Learning Group with a group of colleagues in 2002. For over 20 years, NLG has provided high quality individualized services to people with Profound Autism. NLG's School serves 135 students, and our Adult Program, opened in 2013, serves 68 adults. Along with Katherine Johnson, and in partnership with the Profound Autism Alliance, Liz and NLG created the Profound Autism Summit with the goal of bringing together the Profound Autism community to advance the care and treatment of those with Profound Autism. Liz and her husband are the proud parents of 5 adult children, including a son with Profound Autism.
