Strong Connections x Supervision Reimagined We're teaming up to bring you an empowering workshop on Neurodivergent-affirming social skills! Traditional social skills programs can often focus on "social norms" that have been determined based on neurotypical standards. In neurodivergent individuals, adhering to many of these norms may increase masking and lead to burn-out, depression and other negative consequences. This event will focus on how to respect neurodivigernt communication and socialization styles while promoting relationship-building. Our experts will take you through real-world examples as well as practical applications of the PEERS curriculum to teach social skills that are meaningful, compassionate and neurodiversity affirming.
