Nyetta Abernathy
M.Ed, BCBA, LBA

Nyetta Abernathy is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Expressive Arts Facilitator. Nyetta has almost two decades of experience in Human Services and Education. She administers ABA while utilizing expressive arts such as improv, painting, dance, and music under her own ABA company called Creative Learning Therapies. Nyetta has a Bachelor's in Human Services, a Masters in Education, and two post graduate certificates (Applied Behavior Analysis and Expressive Arts Coaching and Education). She is also a professional member of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. Nyetta also has over 15 years of technical acting and dance training. Her passion is blending ABA and Expressive Arts techniques to provide unique and engaging services for children with autism and FAS in the foster care system. Nyetta has also written a book "Social Improv" teaching practitioners and educators how to utilize Improv to teach social skills in group settings and in individual settings. Her book has more than 85 improv games and role plays touching a variety of topics in social skills, communication skills and adaptive skills.
