Basic Pigeon Lab and Reinforcement

This cluster shows how pigeons learn to peck keys when food or safety follows the peck. It proves that both good things and stopping bad things can make a behavior happen again. The studies also show that birds can learn long chains of pecks and that flashing lights alone can make them peck. A BCBA can use these simple rules to plan better lessons for kids and adults.
